Data Deletion Instructions

1. About this page

This page is the Data Deletion Instructions URL for Poki (the "User Data Deletion" / "Data Deletion Instructions URL" field in Meta's app settings points here). If you connected Poki to Facebook or Instagram, you can request deletion of the data Poki holds about you in any of the ways below.

2. Deleting your account in the app

You can delete your account and all your data yourself, immediately:

• Mobile app: Settings › Legal and support › Delete my account. Confirm with your password.
• Web panel: Settings › Delete my account. Confirm with your password.

Once you confirm, your account is closed, your sessions are ended, access tokens of connected accounts are deleted immediately and the deletion process starts. This cannot be undone; remember to cancel your subscription separately through the store (see section 6).

3. Requesting deletion by e-mail

If you cannot access the app, send an e-mail with the subject "Account deletion" to [email protected] from the e-mail address registered to your account. For security we may ask that the request come from the registered address or that you verify your identity another way. When we receive your request we send you a reference number, and you are notified by e-mail when deletion is complete.

Data deletion requests you submit to Meta through Facebook or Instagram are forwarded to us automatically by Meta and handled in the same way; you receive a confirmation code to check the status.

4. What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted:

• Account and profile data (name, e-mail, phone, preferences, push tokens).
• Workspace and brand data, products and product photos.
• All files you uploaded and all content Poki generated (images, videos, text, voice-overs), drafts, calendars and plans, reports.
• Access tokens of connected Instagram, Facebook, Meta ad and Google Ads accounts, fetched metrics and DM assistant records.
• Competitor analysis data, personal data in your support correspondence.

Kept because the law requires it:

• Invoice and payment records: 10 years under tax and commercial legislation (limited to the fields legally required).
• Access and transaction logs: for the period required by applicable legislation; the link to personal data is severed as early as possible.
• Anonymised aggregated statistics: contain no personal data, cannot be linked to you and are not deleted.

Content already published on social media platforms belongs to your account on that platform; deleting it from Poki does not remove it from the platform. You can remove it with the platform's own tools.

5. Timeline

After a deletion request is received, your data is deleted or anonymised from production systems within 30 days at the latest. Because of the backup cycle, removal from backups is completed within a further 14 days at most; during that time backup copies are kept only for disaster recovery and are not used in normal operations. Temporary copies held by AI and infrastructure providers are deleted within those providers' own retention periods.

6. Cancelling your subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription on the store side. To cancel:

• iOS: Settings › [Your name] › Subscriptions › Poki › Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play › Profile › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions › Poki › Cancel.
• Web (Stripe): from the Subscription page in the web panel, or by sending a cancellation request to support from your registered e-mail address.

7. Revoking Facebook and Instagram permissions

If you only want to disconnect Meta without deleting your account:

• In Poki: for a publishing account, Channels › connected account › Disconnect; for an ad account, Ads › Ad accounts › Remove. Access tokens are deleted immediately.
• On Facebook: Settings and privacy › Settings › Security and login (or Business integrations) › Poki › Remove.
• On Instagram: Settings › Website permissions › Apps and websites › Active › Poki › Remove.

When you revoke the permission on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends Poki a deauthorisation notice; on receiving it, Poki deletes the access tokens of that account and stops automatic publishing and ad management for it.

8. Removing the Google Ads connection

• In Poki: Ads › Ad accounts › Google Ads › Remove.
• From your Google account: myaccount.google.com › Security › Third-party apps with account access › Poki › Remove access.

9. Deleting specific data

You can also delete individual items without closing your account: products and their photos from the Products page, drafts and generated content from the My Drafts page, connected accounts from the Channels and Ad accounts pages. Deleted media files are permanently removed from storage within 30 days.
